Charming 3 bedroom, 2 bath Breckenridge Colorado condo - Winter skiing; Summer hiking, biking, golf

3 Bedroom, 2 bath, 1450 square foot condo with mountain views in lovely Breckenridge, Colorado, one of the top ski resorts in North America. We have a 2 bedroom (both have king beds) + large loft (with Murphy bed and futon), 2 full bathrooms (one with a Jacuzzi tub) condo in Breckenridge that sleeps up to 6. Our condo just completed a major renovation. It has a great location being just a 2 minute walk from downtown and a half block from the free shuttle that takes you to the ski lift. You can also walk to the new gondola. In fact, once you park your car in our underground heated garage you do not need to use it! Our condo is a corner unit with mountain views. We love our condo and you will too.

All the extras to make your stay fun: Mountain views and decor, hardwood floors, gas fireplace, 40 inch Sony LCD HDTV with HD cable and Sony sounds system, DVD/VCR, WIFI and a computer, wrap-around sofa. Two decks. Full kitchen with range/oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator. Master bedroom has private bath and Jacuzzi and a private deck. Guest bedroom with king bed and incredible mountain view. Large loft that can sleep 4. 4 bikes, sleds, snow shoes.

Our condo complex has an indoor swimming pool and hot tub, sauna, showers, underground heated parking garage, elevators, and an owner's lounge with pool table and fire place.

My Surroundings / Locality

Winter Activities: Downhill skiing, cross country skiing, snow-shoeing, snowmobiling, sledding, dog sledding, large Breckenridge recreation/fitness center, ice skating rinks, live theater, cinemas, half hour drives to Vail, Copper, Keystone ski resorts.

Summer Activities: The saying is that people come for the winter, but stay for the summer. The weather is typically in the high 70's and dry. Activities include hiking, biking (there are many paved as well as mountain trails), golf, white water rafting, horseback riding, kayaking/canoeing, sailing, fly-fishing, ATV's, etc. There are lots of music festivals in Breckenridge and nearby, and we are a half hour from Vail and 2 hours from Aspen, not to mention centrally located for all of Colorado.

My Hometown

Breckenridge is the quintessential mountain town with a large preserved historic district. It has over 60 restaurants, several spas, excellent shopping, an art district, frequent summer and winter festivals and events, and all of the amenities and activities of one of the top mountain resorts in North America. It is a short walk to all of these from our condo.
